We have many special events throughout the year. Please join us for all that you can.
First Sunday of the month:
We serve cookies and coffee or punch after the services.
It's a great time to catch up with and meet those in our community. Come and join us.
Also first Sunday, we celebrate the Lord's supper by serving communion. All those who hold Christ as their personal savior are welcome.
Helping Hands Food Pantry. Non parishiable food items are delivered to the pantry first of the month, but all donations will be accepted anytime.
Second and Fourth Sunday of the month:
We collect the noisy offering. Donation of loose change is collected in some noisy pans. Each month it is decided which organizations to sponsor. It's a lot of fun!
Third Sunday of the month:
Special Music is usually featured at our worship. Any who enjoy performing in the worship service are highlighted during the third Sunday worship service.
Birthday potluck. If your birthday occurs during the current month, we would love to celebrate it with you. Share great food and a special cake of the season. In December, we honor Jesus with a cake featuring His name. Birthday honories are first in line. Diner on the third Sunday following the service.
Fourth Sunday of the month:
Worship Celebration at 7:00pm. During the months of Sept. - May. Featured in the evening is contemporary praise and worship music, led by the praise team. A time for all to participate in the joy of knowing, loving, and serving Jesus. Bring along something to share; something your thankful for, something to read, something funny, something serious. Sing a song, show a short video.... After service enjoy a few snacks and more friendly, fellowship.
Third Wednesday:
Womens group meet to plan the following annual fund raisers, such as the strawberry festival and possibly a fall soup supper. Also put together annual Thanksgiving baskets and Christmas baskets. Great fun meeting together not only to enjoy our own fellowship, but also to work together to help those in our community. Usually plan something to honor mothers and fathers on their special day. At least one event is planned for a group outing, such as out for dinner, or a special place to visit. We are a fun bunch. Come and join us.
